Mike and Helen McDonald started Halzephron Herb Farm shop in Falmouth, Cornwall, they opened their shop in October 2011 and have been overwhelmed and delighted with the response and feedback from both locals and visitors to the town. In October 2018 the name of the shop was changed to A Gift From Cornwall.
In February of 2019, myself, Robert, and my wife Jackie Gibbon took over the shop, after seeing the photographs of A Gift From Cornwall, there was an instant appeal, which drove us to move about 250 miles to live and work in Cornwall. This is an attractive venture for us, Jackie’s skills creating soft furnishing and handicrafts combined with my own interest in food and cookery made us the perfect pair to take on this new challenge. Even though it was a career change for both of us, we both felt well-prepared with myself having experience in customer service in the hospitality sector and Jackie having worked for seven years in an administration and accounting role.
We have continued stocking high quality Cornish food and drink which complement the A Gift From Cornwall ethos of quality and locally sourced ingredients.

For the hampers, Jackie loves hand picking local, delicious and beautiful products, made with different occasions, prices, and individual tastes in mind, specially selected to complement the variety of customers we supply.
