Blended with sesame and almonds it is balanced well with cayenne, fennel, paprika and a good splash of chilli to give it heat that gradually builds.
Enjoy dipped with bread and oil and serve with cold drinks – it’s good and it’s hot.
It is also brilliant sprinkled onto soups, salmon or steak. Or how about mixing with natural yoghurt and used to marinate meat skewers for the BBQ.
