Below are our terms & conditions for purchasing on this website. Please read these carefully as they contain important information. By assessing this site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove, without notice, any information on this site as necessary.
Payment
You may pay for orders by telephone, simply call us on 01326 210600. A Gift from Cornwall maintain the highest levels of security, we therefore do not keep your credit/debit card details.
You may also pay for purchases using PayPal and their secure system, using either your debit or credit card.
If ordering offline you may pay by cheque. Please make cheques payable to A Gift from Cornwall and write your name and address on the back of the cheque. If paying by cheque please allow 5 working days for clearance prior to your order being dispatched.
Prices
All prices are displayed in GBP Sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Please be aware that delivery is an additional cost, refer to our delivery page for more information on delivery costs.
Delivery Instructions
On arrival please check your items carefully. In the unlikely event that an item(s) has been damaged, unsatisfactory or incomplete please inform us within 48 hours of receipt. We will then do everything we can to rectify the problem.
All deliveries require a signature unless we have been given alternative instructions by you.
Our courier service will send us conformation that your order has been delivered, therefore you agree that this is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Delivery Zones
We are currently only posting within the UK. Deliveries within England cost £9.95. Deliveries to Northern Ireland and Scotland carry an additional cost please enquire for more details.
We use two delivery methods, Royal Mail and FedEx The method we use for your order will be dependent on the weight of the item(s).
Dispatch Days
We aim to process and dispatch your order as soon as possible but as a guide orders will be processed and packed on the day of purchase, posted on the following day then delivered to you within approximately 2 days, however please allow up to 5 working days. Orders placed on a Thursday, Friday and over the weekend will be ready for dispatch on the following Monday (excluding bank Holidays).

Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an order please inform us straight away by either calling us on 01326 210600 or emailing at info@agiftfromcornwall.co.uk. We aim to process orders straight away therefore your order may already have been dispatched and on its way to you. If this is the case please except the delivery and follow the returns procedure as outlined below.
We are unable to refund the cost of perishable items and you will be liable for the cost of returning the item(s).
Returns & Refunds
If you take delivery of a package from us and the contents have been damaged in transit, we will exchange the damaged item(s) without charge to you. You must return the damaged item(s) to us within 7 days of taking delivery. We will of course refund you the cost of sending the parcel back to us.
We recommend that when returning items you use a service that requires a signature on delivery or that can be tracked.

If we need to issue you a refund we will have to re contact you for your card details as we do not keep this information.
Claims
Claims for breakages must be reported to A Gift from Cornwall by either email or telephone, details can be found on our Contact Us page. Claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt of goods.
For any other order issues please advise us within 7 days of receipt of the goods. We are not able to offer a refund on goods purchased if we have not been notified within this time period.
Products
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. Products and packaging are subject to change without prior notice and in this event, we will offer a replacement which will be of equal or higher value. Please be aware that a manufacturer may change the packaging of their product, however the item inside will still be the same.
Chilled & Baked Produce
If you wish us to send fresh or baked goods we advise you not to order for a Monday delivery as items will be dispatched on a Friday and may be held in a depot over the weekend or in transit. We recommend that bakery items should be consumed within 3 days and cream within 5 days. However Best Before dates do vary but the above should be considered prior to ordering. Please contact us prior to ordering if in doubt.
Sale of Alcohol
In accordance with the Licensing Act 2003 it is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to purchase, or attempt to purchase, alcohol. Similarly it is an offence for any person over the age of 18 to purchase alcohol on behalf of any person under the age of 18.
You must not proceed and you must accept these terms if you do not meet this requirement. It will be taken that you are over the above mentioned ages if you complete the order process as this forms part of our contract of sale.
Product Specification and Descriptions
Every effort has been made to ensure that product description, colours, dimensions and specifications are accurate. However if necessary we may vary these without prior notice.
Please be aware that the colour of items that you see may appear differently depending on your monitor’s resolution.
Force Majeure
Whilst we will make every effort to fulfil your order A Gift from Cornwall will not be liable for any breach of obligation beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export of other necessary license), wars, insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.
